Custom Workspace error: The browser session was lost due to an error on the server

I have created a fully custom from scratch workspace using the Workspace Operation w/ Tabs pattern. The form compiles without error.

When running the from from VS or navigating to it inside the F&O web client, I get the following error:

This workspace has no data sources and no other additions other than what is required by the pattern.

I found the issue with this. When following the Workspace form patterns and you get to 'Form part', you must specify a menu item for the form part otherwise it will throw this error. Once I specified a menu item on the form part, it worked great.
