Can you please tell me the full end to end process in Cost Project type in Project management and accounting d365 FO

Hi Akshay,
This project type is for recording and tracking cost for internal projects, all costs post to P&L only. We cannot post to balance sheet under this project type that means we cannot capitalize cost incurred for this project. These projects not associated with customers so we cannot bill to customers under this project.
This projects are normally short-term and costs are not capital nature.
You need all the setups like other project types except sales prices. You can record transactions using project journals and project purchase orders.
