GP 10 on 64 bit computer

I'm having trouble running the UserGetInfo.CreateADOConnection code. I suspect it is because we switched from a 32 bit machine to 64 bit. The ODBC Data Sources were set up correctly, and the USERID used to connect is correct (and password is correct). Has anyone else had this issue and found a way to resolve it?

Ultimately, I need this code to work in order to default Bill Type/Profit Type into the Budget Maintenance/CostCategoryMaintenance screens.

    Thanks Soma,

    That pointed us in the right direction. We ended up changing the GETRS function, so we could connect to the database a different way. This is the code added:

    ConnStr = "Provider=SQLNCLI10.1;Integrated Security='';Persist Security Info=False;User ID=[InsertUserIDHere];Initial Catalog=[InsertDefaultCompanyHere];Data Source=[InsertSQLServerAddressHere];Initial File Name='';Server SPN=''"

    cn.Open ConnStr

    Best Regards,

    The error occurs in GP>Project>Project Maintenance>Budget>Budget Maintenance.>Cost Categories. When I select a new cost category to add, the error occurs.

    If I click debug, it lands on this line of code: cn.Open UserInfoGet.CreateADOConnection, "[user]", "[password]"

    We recently switched GP servers from a 32 bit machine to 64. On the 32, this error never occurred. On the 64 it does, and the VBA code is exactly the same.

    These are the references I have checked off as available:

    Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you for your help!

    In VBA editor, go to Tools-->References and then check the references as marked. Before that, can you provide us more details about your error? where you get this error? When? and attach screnshot for this error.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes this is using VBA. Do you know where the references are located? I am new to customer source.

    Regards,

    Joe

    I think you have faced this issue from VBA. If yes,Have you checked the references added in VBA?
