Getting latest data information from related entity and update the field

If there are any idea getting data from one to many relationship, we are very glad to hear that.

    That would typically be done by using a Rollup Field with method "max".

    Keep in mind that it is calculated only once per hour plus when manually triggering recalculation. 

    Otherwise you might want to leverage Flow for that or create a plugin.

    Would you not just have a workflow to update the asset? The link I would imagine would be from incident type on the work order to the asset. Just have the workflow run only when the work order is closed-posted. 

    Unless I'm missing something, this would work.
