Any logs to see if a workflow kicked off?

Some of my workflows in CRM 2016 on premise have the box checked to automatically delete the workflow when it has completed successfully to save space.  However, not I can't see if a workflow actually ran when I look at background processes for a record.  Are they any logs or something else I can check to see if a workflow actually did kick off or not?

Thank you.

Is your workflow a Real-Time workflow?

You won't see success logged in the workflow and the failed once will anyway pop-up on screen since it being the real-time workflow.

If you have Background workflow, you can go to System Jobs and see when you try to replicate the issue. Your workflow process should come up there.

My workflow is not a real-time workflow.  Since I don't see it under the system jobs for the contract entity as seeing this certain workflow listed, I am guessing it never ran.  To confirm this though, are they logs as well behind the scenes that I could catch that you know of?

I'm assume you already looked at Process Sessions and nothing is registered, right?

Also, did you double check on the criteria that the workflow is firing off? Is it correctly set on Update/Create of anything and you are doing all the options right?

How can you know that workflow is not triggering?

Can you please add one additional step which will create a test record with some valid condition for test.

Also can you please check if any other workflow you have those are running or not. If they are running ,I assuming that the problem with the triggering condition  which does not satisfied.

    Hi,

perhaps your workflow condition is not met, thats why there is no action from workflow. Besides that why dont you share the workflow setting and we can help you to identify the problem easily.

    Hi,

If you have ticked "Delete successful jobs.." then there is no other way to find out if the workflow was triggered or not. You can check your steps and work out based on created/ modified on values if you are creating/ updating any records.

    Hope this helps.

Hi, Did you check workflowlog entity table in the DB? Before that you verify the conditions and the workflow steps.
