Many to Many subgrid not displaying the plus sign

I have an issue with a subgrid representing a many-to-many relatioship between 2 custom entites

The plus sign enabling me to select an item to associate is not displaying.

I chequed the privileges on the two entities and with my role I have all the privileges including the required read and append on the 2 entities

I have a CRM 20103 installation with Rollup 2

So I don't know what is missing...your help will be greately apreciated since i have been looking for a while now. Thank you!!

    Hi, what if you go to the Associated View, can you find the Add Existing button?

    Check whether someone has hidden the button on purpose using Ribbon Workbench. Check the visibility rules.

    thank you for the reply...yes i have the system admin role. my issue suddenle disappeared though and i can now see the plus sign. thanlks afain for trying to help. this is my first time posting a question on the community and i see it works.

    oh right!! i think this was the issue because i did hide the create new in the ribbon and put it back so this cleared the mystery for me...thank!!
