I am trying to create a connection in DataFactory by Odata.

where can I find the corrected Service URL? I tried to put the URL from the web service list, but it doesn't work.

Did anyone encounter this issue?  Thanks in advance.

    Jason,

Make sure the password is the web access token from your customer card. This is different than the password used to log into BC.

If it still doesn't work, try browsing the metadata manually either in a browser or with a tool like Postman.

    Thanks for your response.

I know the username and password that are from the user name and web service access key, and I tested it in export data into an excel file.

I am confused about where to get the corrected URL ( or called root URL). the URL in the pic below is from the web service list.

    Original string is https://api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/v2.0/xxxxxxxx-f566-4580-8b17-47d99b9cf474/Production/ODataV4/Company('GSP')/TRCItemlist/

but it doesn't work, I tried to cut off the last two words Company('GSP')/TRCItemlist/, then it works.

However, I got an error shows lost company when I create a dataset, then I tried put Company('GSP') , it still can't work.

I've spent 2 days on this issue.......   any advice. thank you.

    Hello,

If you cannot get that to work, then maybe raising a support request via your CSP. The question still is if you are able to get it to work with Postman.

    Alternatively, this may help:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../connector-odata

I had the same issue and solved it by just entering the ODATA Url until "... /ODATAV3/".

Then applied this and added the rest "Company('Cronus')/G_LEntries in the Path-property of the connection.

Strange thing here, I edited an two month old OData connection and there I used the full ODATA URL to the same instance and ODATA source. Something changed!?
