hello,
we are using cases for registering customer requests, and when ever we want to close the case, we want to get the user to sign on the screen instead of printing a report and gettign the user signature and uploading the scanned sign copy before closing the case. is there any way to achieve this?
Regards,
how do i move this thread to D365, it is posted in AX
Hi Naveen,
I moved the thread to the Dyn365 forum.
About your issue:
Do customers have to sign on a mobile device as one commonly sees this at freight forwarding companies such as UPS, Fedex, etc?
If this is what you are looking for then I would suggest to have a look of the PowerApp functionalities that can be integrated with D365FO.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hello,
I want to take the signature of the customer before delivering the items, we use sales order for delivery, and i want the customer to sign the packing slip or invoice on screen on tablet
how can this be achieved?
Hello Ludwig,
Thank you,
yes, i use a case for tracking the requests, and associate the sales orders to that case, now when the customer takes the item we post a packing slip and invoice it. now we need the customer to sign the screen on the tablet and this sign will be attached to packing slip and if possible printed on the packing slip.
what to use in powerapp? can explain if possible?
Hello Naveen,
There are a lot of possibilities how to do those electronic signatures with PowerApps. I searched for a couple of descriptions and found the following on the PowerApps community forum. Please have a look at the following sites and continue searching yourself
powerusers.microsoft.com/.../1323
powerusers.microsoft.com/.../146365
powerusers.microsoft.com/.../27925
thank you for the reply.
for power apps, we need a connector as we are using on premise mode, is there any solution for on premise version?
Good Morning Naveen,
PowerApps has an onprem connector for D365FO
Please see:

I want to configure the electronic signature in D365FO. When I request for "Get Certificate" and enter the Electronic signature password, I rant into an error saying "Creation of certificate failed. Check if the password matches the policy." I tried to reasearch on this but no luck.
Does anyone know what is the password policy?
Thanks
Hi Srikanth,
Can you create a new question on the forum? The electronic signature function you are referring to is different from the original question.
I have similar requirement. Can you please give me steps on how you built it.
