Headquarters administrator server reverts to wrong address? Cannot connect with HQ manager.

Hello all,

On one user's machine, I keep changing the server under Configuration in HQ Administrator and successfully testing the connection. Then, when I go to HQ Manager, I receive a "cannot connect to database" error on launch. When I return to HQ Admin to inspect the configuration, I see that the server reverts to the address I entered before changing the server.

Is there a config file I'm unaware of that specifies the default server HQ manager connects to, or is there a way to make HQ administrator stick with the right server?

Thanks!

Are you logged into Windows under a non-administrative account? I've had a similar problem caused by this in the past. Apparently, the config file is read-only to non-admins.
