Assign account to team depending on parent business unit

Hello!

Lets say i have 2 parent business unit A and B. Under A i have 2 child BU 1 and 2 and under B i have 3 and 4.

I need to share a record to a team from BU 1 to BU A and a record from BU 3 ti BU B.

So the assigning of the record will depend on the parent BU.

Is there any way to get this info on what parent BU a user has as a member of ex. BU 1.

The boxes named Business Areas is also Business Units, we just call them Business Areas to make the sorting easier.

So what i want to do here is to assign a account created within BU3 for example to a team located in BA1, which will grant access to everyone who is a member of that team. So i can mix team members from BU 1 and BU 2.

As i understood from access teams is that you need a subgrid on the account form and then add the users on every post? I want all the accounts that is created to be shared with in one business area. Since we have several business areas every account cant be shared. It is just the accounts created in one business area to be shared with the business areas business units. Kinda hard to explain really :)

    Hi Jonas

Have you looked at using Access Teams? This would allow you to look at an Item Created for BUA1 while you are in BUA2 but not if you are in BUB1 or BUB2

I just need to share some information between the child business units, so i cant fix this with just security roles. I need to some how retrieve the teams of the parent business unit and then set the right team as a owner. And this needs to me automatically.

You have to setup security role with privilege "Parent: Child  business unit"

    Please refer below screenshot

Provide this privilege in required entity.
