I want to lock a field on BPF using a BR

Hi All,

I created a BR to lock some fields on my Opportunity BPF, I put the fields on the form (but not visible) for the BR to work, I also set the scope to entity. The field is Read only on the form but somehow, in the BPF, the field still accessible for users. Anyone can help me with that please?

Thank you!

Do you have any business rules or javascript running that may be using he same fields? if it's easier use javascript to make the field read only.

    Hi Nima,

Business Rule will not work on BPF fields. You can use javascript to achieve the same i.e. use "header_process_" prefix to field schema name. For example, if the field name is new_name on the form, then use "header_process_new_name" in javascript which will also work for BPF fields.
