Event Registration Custom Field creation and Mapping

Hello Everyone,

How can we create Custom field in selfhosted Event Registration Form and mapping for the same in CRM Registration field under marketing app.

which will be required for all the event registration. other than customregistrationfield option available in OOB.

    Hi Srividhya Rajendran,

    Try to build a workflow and migrate answer in custom registration fields to corrensponding contact's fields as an alternative solution at present.

    Hi Srividhya,

    Currently event registration API only accepts firstname, lastname and email fields, that's limitation, (supported fields have been all listed in Event API doc)

    custom field will be ignored even if we add it in requested JSON body.

    Currently I suggest you could use landing page as alternative to default registration form,

    then trigger a workflow to create an event registration record from new contact.(If contact's Originating event field contains data)

    Hey Srividhya, 

    We have upcoming functionality that should begin to ease this concern. In the meantime, you are limited to using the custom registration fields, and then copying the values from the custom reg field responses into the contact or event registration record using a workflow or Power Automate.
