Hi

I have a problem where I have some packaging material is managed in Rolls, but consumed in a formula by the metre. Problem is that on small batch orders, consumption is only 8 metres from the roll of 1760 metres. AX converts this to a usage of 0.00 rolls, and this leads to an error 'quantity ordered may not be reduced as there is not enough inventory with on order status' when RAF ing

Is there any solution other than replacing the item with another that is managed in Metres?

Have you tried rounding the consumption on the BOM line so that you always use a minimum of 0.01 rolls?

Alternatively you could increase the number of decimal places on the roll unit of measure - but personally I think consumption rounding will be a better bet.
