GP 2010 Webservices connection issue

Trying to connect to the GP2010 Web Service from SoapUI I receive the error org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException.

I am also trying to connect to the Webservice from Progress Openedge 10.2B I get the error "Error receiving Web Service Response: Authorization required. Status code 401 (Unauthorized) received. (11773)".

I am passing through a userid and password for a user authorised as a superuser in the Dynamics Security Console.

I have also tried using the Local User set up to run the Microsoft Dynamics GP Service Host service but get the same errors back.

Any help appreciated.

The first question is whether Web Services for Dynamics GP 2010 is working correctly? i.e. can you access the 4 URLs, and access everything in the Dynamics Security Console and Dynamics GP Web Services Exceptions Console?

These are the default URLs:

a. http://<webservername>:48620/Dynamics/GPService

b. http://<webservername>:48620/DynamicsGPWebServices

c. http://<webservername>:48620/DynamicsSecurityService

d. http://<webservername>:48621/

Note: Replace <webservername> with the actual server name that Web Services for Dynamics GP 2010 is installed onto.

Once you verify the above, that Web Services for Dynamics GP 2010 is working correctly, it is actually the information in the Dynamics GP Web Services Exceptions Console (under Administrative Tools) that is usually used to troubleshoot the application/integration side of Web Services.

You may need to create a support case with our Web Services SDK team, for Dynamics GP Support, to look at it further.
