Hi, we need to update the name of our payment term, but I don't see anything in PTSL to do this? Would it cause issues if the code is updated in the system, customer/vendor card rm/pm tables and then update any open orders?

Hi Elsa, thanks for your response, but we already have the terms set up, its really just the name we want to change, but I'd prefer to not have to create a new one and go through the hassle of changing all customers and vendors on it.

Currently there is no way in the system that will allow you to change a payment term's ID. You would have to build some type of sql statement to update the fields or a customization. If it's just the names of the payment terms that change and not how it calculates I would think you should be able to create some customization that would go through all Setup tables and transactional tables.
Hopefully someone in the community has done this before and will reply.
