Have you tried G/L Balance by Dimension?

    Hi,

Analysis view will be met your requiement. In the figure below the column is the Accounting Period, you can replace it with the Dimension Code.

On this page, switch the column field from Accounting Period to Dimension Code.

If you where in the newest version you could create a report in Power BI showing a map with several location and then embed that report into Business Central.  Would not be 100% like a live tracking but it would give you a picture of the situation at a given time.

    Hi,just adding to others' reply.

You can try to use G/L Dimension Overview feature in General ledger Entries page.

And in the next major version (BC21), there will be the following new feature.

Try Power BI apps with dimensions

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.
