Moving Service Calls from WORK to HISTORY

Hello All,

We are using GP2010 and I know that you can use the "Move Calls to History" routine to mass move calls.  Unfortunately, unless there is a way to modify it's criteria this isn't a viable option for us.  When I process it for all calls from 12/31/2012 back, it pulls in a number of calls that are not closed and invoiced yet.  The filter I am using is completion date, and until the call is closed and completion date entered, the default for that field is 00/00/0000, which counts as below 12/31/2012.

So my question is:  Is there a way to mass move service calls to history based off completion date and a particular call status?

Note:  I was hesitant to use a SQL statement to handle this, as I don't know what stored procs GP uses when moving a call to history, although if it's cut and dry the SQL statement should be fairly simple.

Use a range of dates from say 1/1/1990 through 12/31/2012

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your response.  The "Move Service Call to History" routine doesn't offer that option.  I can select a range for; Service Call Number, Service Type, Customer ID, or Address ID.  For Completion Date it gives only one box with no option of setting a range.  Furthermore, I am not as concerned about the range (although I would like to leave the past few months untouched) as I am about the call status.
