eConnect for GP 2013 vs eConnect for GP 2016

Hi,

I was just about to upgrade my GP to 2016, however I have an integration with GP 2013 that uses eConnect. I haven't been able to fund much documentation on the difference between the eConnect versions (if any), so I was hoping someone here could explain any differences to me or point me in the direction of some documentation. My integration works right now with GP 2013 but I want to make sure I won't have to completely update my integration for GP 2016.

KrissyJ05 - I too am about to upgrade to GP 2016 and was curious about any gotchas surrounding eConnect changes. Do you mind sharing what you learned, thanks?

The integration deals with sales transactions and purchasing transactions. I finally downloaded the newer eConnect and it includes documentation showing what was added. I appreciate your response though!

What transactions does your integration use?

I think 2013 or 2013 R2 is when they came out with SBA (aka service based architecture) which pretty much put a halt on all econnect changes. I think the most recent documentation says 2013 R2 on the title page.
