Label Printing in RMS/Windows 10

Since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, we are not able to print barcode labels to our Zebra LP2824. We have tried both 'Generic / Text Only' and the 'Zebra' driver files. Zebra prints only the characters from the text file, and Generic only feeds blank labels. Are there new drivers available for Windows 10 64 bit / 32 bit?

    OK, if you are connecting to the printer via the generic/text only driver and the printer is responding, you are half way there.

    Make sure the generic/text only printer is pointed directly to the port - com port, parallel port, usb port, etc.

    If it is printing characters from the text file only, your label is not formatted for the printer. Each label printer has a language of its own and the format has to be in that language.  If you want to post your label content, maybe I can help. Open the label in notepad, copy & post.

    Or you can contact me directly.

    In response to my previous post;

    Below is the label file being used. As stated, it worked fine in Windows 7 professional, but after upgrading to windows 10, it no longer prints. It only feeds the quantity of labels requested.

    This same problems occurs at three different stores that I support. In each location, the printers are the Zebra LP2824 with a USB interface. The computers are each; Dell Optiplex 760.

    Did you create a generic text printer pointing to the port the printer is using?

    Also, did you run all the updates for rms? Some of the mdacs and stuff are different for Windows 10.
