Hi everybody,
Our customer has the following requirement, but I'm not sure if it's actually possible...
Dynamics need to address a service that is deployed on Azure, in a Kubernetes cluster. The customer has implemented IP whitelisting in a Network Security Group, and in a Ingress Controller (using Nginx) in the cluster. This service needs to be accessed from a custom Action in Dynamics.
The customer does not want Dynamics backend to communicate through the open internet with internal services, they want the backend Azure-hosted applications to communicate using Azure VNets (or by peering the VNets).
So my questions here:
- Is it possible to provide the outbound IP of Dynamics? From what I understand, this could be the entire Azure IP range, and this could changes on a weekly base?
- Is it possible for a Dynamics custom Action to communicate with another Azure hosted service using the same Azure VNet, so without passing through open internet? Again, from what I understand, Dynamics always needs a public endpoint to make calls to?
Thanks for any assistance or insights!
