Error when importing solution from sandbox to production

Hi,

I'm trying to import a solution to our production environment that I exported from sandbox. However, I keep getting this error - /Import failed due to missing dependencies/.

The dependencies the error message lists are contained in the solution itself so I don't understand how I can import when the solution I'm importing contain the very things that the error message says are missing. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I should have also mentioned that this has never happened to me before in the three and a half years I've been exporting/importing solutions this way.
