Console scheduler Task

I need a scheduler in  CRM application for running a task ( bulk update etc) automatically in periodic intervals.  For example  we need a scheduler to update Leave every month of 1st day approx 500 records and this has to be done automatically. I don't have any idea about scheduler perform by Console app. I have custom workflow its working but after 50 record update getting timeout error for rest record.

    Hi Afroz Aman,

    You can write a Custom Console Application in VS, Then schedule this application using Windows task scheduler in CRM server.

    Create a web app in Azure tonnes of info in google on scheduling etc. If you already have the custom workflow code your 9/10  of the way there. I have had a lot of API's loading 1000's of records that have ran flawlessly in Azure in the past. Also use to use SendGrid to send updates and alerts.

    Also if records are already in Dynamics don't forget https://mscrm2015asynchronousbatchprocess.codeplex.com/ works well, will run a process based on records from a fetch query and runs based on a built in scheduler.
