How to include ISV packages and customizations in new VHD development environment

Dear Forum,

I have recently picked up a delivered Dynamics 365 FO project that has only acceptance and production. I have then created a development environment by downloading the provided VHD and created some customizations.

My problem is that new development environment does not contain all ISV packages and customizations and I don't know
how to export from test/acceptance (remote desktop is not allowed, I guess) to my local Virtual machine to create a deployable package.

Would anyone have any suggestions?

    Hello,

Actually, I have found the sources in a repository - so everything is more clear now.

Thanks for taking time to answer me.

    Hi Athankon.

To get the code deployed on a UAT and production environment, you would need to have a deployable package on LCS. Is the package still available in their asset library? If so, you can install that package and add the components to the build process.

    Hi Martin,

No source control repository is available (from what I am aware).

But I do not really mind about the sources - I just need to include all the external packages properly (binaries should be fine), and then generate a deployable package from Visual Studio, promote to test/acceptance and production.

    Would that be possible?

Tier 2+ environments don't contain source code, therefore you can't get it from there. Don't they have a source control repository that you simply need to connect too?
