Scribe Versus Smart Connect - What are your Thoughts

The good, the bad and the ugly... I'd love to hear a little about people's experience with Scribe Versus Smart Connect. I'm coming up to the Design Phase of a Dynamics CRM 2011 implementation. We already have Smart Connect and the supplier is indicating a preference towards Scribe.

  1. Integration points are only GP 2010 and Site Core CMS
  2. Migration will need to occur from our current custom-built CRM

    I have only had a small glimpse of smart connect, but I have had alot of experience with scribe.

    IMO there is nothing out there on the market at the moment that can challenge Scribes product in ways of versatility and ease. This includes SSIS, Biztalk etc.

    Depending on the number of users, Scribe might be a bit more expensive, but it allows for you to create extremely complex integrations with very little programming and its very intuitive.

    Another thumbs up for scribe is also that you can find a scribe consultant on allmost every street corner. It has become industry standard, so if for some reason what to change your partner, you should have no problems finding a new that can pick up on the job straight away.
