Adding a Language Switch Link in CRM 2016

Our CRM user community is complaining about how many mouse clicks [6] they have to go through in order to switch the CRM UI to another language.

Their old system had a switch language link in the top nav bar [like most Canadian government websites do] and the user would click on that link once. The page would reload with the new language. Done.

However, in CRM 2016, the only way user can switch between languages is via Options in the top nav bar which takes 6 mouse clicks?!

I am thinking of adding a new link into the ribbon bar [or maybe even in the top nav bar :) ] that would give the user ability to switch language with just one click. I know I can dynamically [JS] get the user's current language [via Xrm.Page.context.getUserLcid()] but dont know if there is a method or function that can be used dynamically to set the user language?

Any suggestions?

Cheers
