We are in the process of moving from the On Prem CRM to the Online CRM. As such, one of the things I've been tasked with is having Leads that came in from external sources (Websites we host) route to the new CRM. Some forms have been esy enough to do using Form Capture or just recreating the form all together and embedding it on the site. However, I've run into a tricky situation: Some of our forms allowed for a user to select multiple products, and in the old On Prem CRM, this would create multiple Leads. I have no idea how they got that working, as the people who worked on it have long since left and it's considered legacy code. I don't even have access to it.
My question is; is there a way to use Form Capture or embedding a Form to create multiple Leads in CRM upon submission? If not, is there a 3rd party software that could accomplish the task?
up to my knowledge it is not possible to create multiple leads per form submission. You can define the matching strategy for leads that decides for each submission whether to create a lead or match it to an existing one.
My suggestion is to build a standard PowerAutomate Flow that triggers on the form submission and creates the leads with your requirements. Or in Realtime journeys you can use the form submission ootb trigger as a start and add the flow to the journey once or more times to create multiple leads.
Hope this helps
