Posting pending invoice - error message: the PO was corrected after the invoice was created. All accounting distributions must be re-created..

When trying to post a pending invoice, following error appears from time to time.

We used to delete the pending invoice as a work-around when this error came up but this is not acceptable as long-term solution.

Can you help? Do you know how to proceed in another manner or how to avoid this error?

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Are you running on an older AX2012 version?

Have you already searched for available hotfixes on LCS?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig

It doesn't look like a bug - the customer really changes the PO or packing slip while the invoice is pending. For example they have a partial delivery or one of the PO included in the pending invoice is changed.

Does that help you in order to get an idea of what could be the reason for this error? Does AX not automatically recalculate / refresh the account distribution when a pending invoice gets managed and the underlying PO has been modified?

    Thanks so much

    Regards

    Chiara

    Hi Chiara_WP,

After they make changes to the PO, do they re-confirm the PO?

Can you describe what changes they make exactly?

Is it that they just record a packing slip correction while the packing slip is already selected in the pending vendor invoice?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

I am trying to find out exactly these details and get a test case. Will let you know.

    Thanks a lot in between
