Expected Receipt Date keeps changing on Blanket Purchase Order

Hello there!

I'm hoping someone can help me with an odd issue I'm having with Business Central 18.3

I have a Blanket Purchase Order with a number of lines inside. If I try to adjust the value in the 'Expected Receipt Date' column on the lines, it changes back to it's previous value once I move away from the cell. No error message or notification is given.

I've made sure the Blanket Purchase Order is in 'Open' status before trying to change this.

I'm puzzled - is there anything I can check or do to resolve this?

    Hi Alex,

Is there any extension installed in your BC tenant?

If this is the case, please uninstall and then try again.

Could you also tell me where your tenant is located?

Just add to Vaishnavi suggestions. Do you happen to add requested receipt date to this page? If you have requested receipt date than that is the start point for the system to calculate expected receipt date.

    Hello Vaishnavi,

We have only the default extensions, and we're using Azure for hosting

    Hello MahGah,

I can see in the inspector that there is a Requested Receipt Date field, but it is blank. This field is hidden and cannot be added via personalisation - we're not using it presently

    Hi Alex

Thanks for info. I tried it many time in our environment and did not happen. Even I tried on Released BPO, BPO with received QTY and nothing.

    1) What happens if you change the Expected Date in BPO header?

    2) Do you see the same behavior if you create a new BPO and try?

    3) is it possible to post the small video (or Gif Video) of this behavior?

    Hello all,

After searching and testing, it appears to be the case that this only happens on lines of which the item card has a value set in the "Safety Lead Time" field under the Planning fast-tab.

Many thanks for your time and assistance
