Call stack workflow classes Ax 2012

Hello everyone,

I am trying to get the call stack of Managerial hierarchy providers classes , I have added the call stack code in Hierarchy related classes. but still no info pops up.

I have unchecked the RUN Code in CIL check box.

Is there any other way to get the flow of the Hierarchy provider , or any other documented reference will be helpful.

    Can you tell us more about what you're doing? Can you show us your code and tell us where did you add it? Wouldn't debugger do the same work? How are you running the workflow? If as a batch, do you know how to debug batch jobs?

    what i am trying to do is Create a Workflow provider similar to position hierarchy provider with department hierarchy that is supported for all workflows.

    My code for call stack is:

    Container con;

    str coninfo;

    con = xSession::xppCallStack();

    coninfo = con2str(con);

    info(coninfo);

    i have issue with Visual studio tools in AX setup , i will try to fix that and debug .

    Workflow debugging could be tricky, please read this msdn article msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd638052.aspx

    Also your code won't work in CIL, to get call stack in CIL please refer to this blog post stoneridgesoftware.com/how-to-send-the-callstack-to-the-infolog
