Hi all,
 
Anyone using copilot studio to customize the Side car copilot in d365 f&o? If using after adding the dataverse tables as knowledge to the agent are you getting the expected results if you ask a question related to the added tables?
 
If you are getting the expected results . Please let me know how to give the description when adding the knowledge.

    I haven’t personally tried it yet, but I’ve looked into how it works. Based on what I know, it’s important to provide clear descriptions when adding Dataverse tables as knowledge in Copilot Studio — like table purpose, relationships, and relevant business terms — to help the Copilot return accurate results.

    For reference, this video gives a good overview of how to use Dataverse as a knowledge source in Copilot Studio:

    It explains the process and gives useful tips on setting up descriptions effectively.

    You need to test the use case which you working on. But at large I say yes 
    • Go to: Copilot Studio > Your Agent > Add knowledge > Dataverse :
    • Select your environment and pick the tables you want to add.
    • When prompted to “Add description” for each table:
    • Be very explicit and user-centric Describe what the table represents from a business user’s perspective
    Include column-level context if relevant
