attach file option should be enabled while creating a portal comment..

hello all,
need help for below issue.

I have a form to create a portal comment on one of customer service app and I have an attach file column but when I try to create portal comment. It says that I need to create a record first to attach file.

is there any way to solve this issue or any other way to get attach file option when we create new record.

This Is the form I am using.

Hi Shrutika patil42,

The type of 'attach file' column should be File.

To use the File type column you need to create the record first.

So you should save current portal comment firstly, then you can attach file successfully.

i knew this. but without saving we can allow user to add file ??

Hi Partner,

This is by-design, we can't change it.

If you don't want to save records manually, you can try to use js code to save it automatically.
