In SharePoint 2010, BP 2011 and Project Server 2010 must exist in separate site collections. We would like tighter integration between the two products, and would like them to exist in the same site collection. If we install both products in SharePoint 2013, is it possible to run BP 2011 and Project Server 2010 or 2013 in the same site collection, even though BP 2011 must run in SharePoint 2010 compatibility mode?

I don't believe we have tried this so not sure if its possible or not. Are you also using the project server connector piece to tie project server back into SL? If so, that will only work on Project Server 2010 and not 2013. So I am not sure if project server 2010 would install on sharepoint 2013.
