API with filtering and summary

Hi All

I want extract item ledger entries where the quantity is summarized by the item. However the summary should happen after filtering the posting date to end of last month. I know Query object has SUM method however the issue is we need another filter for the date. Assume we only have 2 items then total quantity as at EOM last month :

Item Qty Tot

Chair A 100

Chair B 200
