ITALY - Sales tax settlement periods blocked by user - Periodo di liquidazione bloccato per l'utente

Dear colleagues,

Quick post to document to a simple error in a Italian localization. 

If the user tries to launch the VAT settlement and receives this error:

Well, you probably can see in the menu "Tax - Declarations - Sales tax - Settle and post sales tax" that :

The user might have launched the process but not finished it. I know that this field gets populated once you start the settlement. How does the period doesn't get closed and the process is blocked by the user ad vitam eternam? This I don't know.

However, delete the user from the form, save and ask to launch again, this should work.

    Hello Thomas,

    yes, you are right.

    In Italian localization this has been issue.

    For each time, user with correct access can remove the user from the settlement period and then only it can be used.

    Please note- ITALIAN localization doesn't allow to post correction in the settled tax period as part of the localization, so it must be considered every time.

    All the time, user/ accountant needs to be aligned with the report 'Sales Tax (ITALY) before they post it.

    Hi Thomas, 

    After deleting the user from the form (and saving), I launched the VAT settlement process again but it ended with the error message: period is blocked by my user (the same one who has launched the VAT settlement process). 

    Is this another error of Italian Localization? How can we solve it?

    Hi Camilla,

    This is pure ITALIAN localization.

    If still the error comes, you again need to check if that is blocked by your user id, if so, please remove it, save it and refresh the browser.

    Before running the same again, kindly make sure that is not blocked again.
