I was wondering if users could have access to deleting lines in a Sales order but not deleting the order itself?
Yes, just change their security role to not have permission to delete the Order.
That's what I thought but I was told that with Dynamic D365 we can't do that anymore. Would you know which permissions we would need to have/not haev to be able to do this? Thank you so much for your help! :-)
Hi,
You can update the permissions on the security role assoc iated to the user. Open security role, click sales tab and then remove the delete permission for order entity.

But that lets the user delete the order as well, can we control only at the order line level (Order product)?
