    Hi,

There is no such thing as merged solution. The only supported option is to create a new solution and add the components you wish to add from either solution but being managed solution, if the components are set to customization false then you can add those components. Even if you add it to the solution, you might not be able to import it to other environment.

Can I ask you why you want to merge managed and unmanaged solution?

You have to manually create a new solution and add all components of both solutions in new solution.

You can not merged  managed and unmanaged solution together into a single solution. What you can do simply add all the managed solution component into unmanaged solution.  Managed solution should be exists in your systems with all the component.  Make sure deleting managed solution will delete all the component from the systems no matter whether its exists in unmanaged solution or not. So in summary you can  not merge managed and unmanaged solution  into single solution  except the adding component from managed solution to unmanged solution.

Adding managed component into unmanaged solution means you can customize those component as per  managed properties defined  in the managed solution .

In addition I want to highlight  , even if you add  same component in one solution , in future you always need maintain two solution.I have seen people are facing many issue when you have similar component into two managed solution. You can not even delete any component if this component exists in both the solution. So be careful doing  multiple managed solution with same component.

There is very good feature introduce in CRM 2015 called solution patch /clone , you can have a look below my article for more information -

    Hi Kumar

Like suggested by others, it is not a standard practice to combine an unmanaged and managed solution. And you cannot combine a managed and unmanaged via import. You can, however, combine components in two unmanaged solutions into one solution via import.

I have had a similar scenario for one of our customers a while ago, and we then contacted relevant people and went through all the backups and got the unmanaged solution and then combined them into one.

I would recommend you try your best to see if you can get the unmanaged version of svc solution. You can talk to relevant people and check the backups and see if you can get hold of the unmanaged version of SVC.

if you managed to get the SVC unmanaged, you can then follow the same approach in the link shared by Adrian
