How to Filter a Public View in Greater Than or Equal to Current Date

We have a public view of a table which we want to filter the column ENDDATE on everything Greater than or Equal to Todays Date. But if one puts in the option "On or after" one can only select a fixed date.

What setting should one do to create a dynamic filter that allways selects everything with an enddate larger than or equal to todsays date?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    Can you try to put in (Day(0))

    Kind regards, Adis

    Thanks for the suggestion Adis.
    But I can't see how to put in (Day(0)).
    Whenever you choose the option "On or After" the only date-option is to choose a date in the calendar that pops up.
    This seems strange to me though. Usually one have the option of entering a "dynamic" date. But I cannot see how.

    There are probably a few ways to do this, but I prefer the path of least resistance in a situation like this.

    • Add a new formula or calculdated field to your table. The field should be a boolean (TRUE/FALSE), with a formula like the following (my syntax might be a little off, but you should be able to get it with the prompts):
      • End Date > Today()
    • Use this new field in your system views.
      • End Date in Future = TRUE
    The formula fields are always calculated and up to date, so no backfill is necessary. There's also no separate code to deploy or maintain, and this uses all standard functionality in CRM without extension. It should meet your requirement and take less than an hour to do. Hope this approach helps. Good luck!

    Thanks  for your answer. We have done exactly that. But I posed the question because I thought that it really should be a simpler way of doing this.
