Retaining Data on Save and New

Hello,

I am wondering if Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 has the ability to save an activity or task as Save and New?. A member wants to ease a process of saving multiple records for the same customer. If the member needs to create 5 activities for the same customer, with mostly the same data, the member wants to save one activity and then make minimal updates on the second activity and save. Without changing data on the first activity.

    You can create custom on-demand workflow to clone your task.

    Or if you can logically calculate the number and contents of tasks to be created, you can use custom plugins or Power Automate.

    You can also create a Ribbon button as CopyToNew and use Javascript to read the form value and populate in the new form.

    Thank you for the suggestion. I like the idea of a workflow, but at this time we limit the ability for users to run workflows.
