Export to Excel - Generic Error Message - Help?

Hi, when attempting to export data from CRM (using the Eport to Excel feature) I get the generic 'An Error Has Occured' message. I can't find any messages on the CRM Server, SQL Server or the client computer.

 Any Ideas?

 We are currently running CRM (Rollup 12) on Windows Server 2003.

SQL Server 2008 is on Windows Server 2003

Client Computer is Windows 7 with Office 2007 SP2 - I have also tried Windows XP with Office 2007 SP2 and get the same message.

    Turn on dev errors in order to get a more detailed error message.

    I figured it out. There were two issues - data and CRM being on a seperate corporate domain. The users First Name and Last Name were missing (as there has been a lot of data migration - this got missed) from CRM - CRM seems to use the user name for some reason when generating the excel macro (or doing some form of internal logic) not the account credentials. The second issue is that the Word Macro (and I expect similar with the Excel) do not use fully qualified names... only the server name. This was temporarily fixed by changing the hosts file to include the short and FQN.
