Having a problem with the Detailed General Ledger report in Dynamics SL 7.0 SP3. If the report is run with selection criteria and there is no detailed data, the header of the report is missing the Company Name and the CompanyID. We have a user that needs to run and save the reports for auditing purposes regarless of whether underlying transactions show up in the detail. I have looked at the underlying view (vw_01620) and the crystal report. Have tried to add the rptRunTime table in crystal which contains the CpnyID and CpnyName fields and added those to the report but it sill does not show up. Also tried editing the pre-process to create a temporary table with those fields and added those to the header of the report but they still did not show. I have checked all the "Suppress" settings I can find in Crystal to no avail. Can anyone help?

The underlying rptruntime table is already included in the view but does not incude the info when then are no records. You can use the trim(riparam("cmpnyname")) and trim(riparam("cpnyid")) to obtain the information you are seeking. Note that this is the same method that the report name formula uses.
