I just upgraded to 2013 R2 and am enjoying the purchase requisition functionality within GP. However, i cannot reduce the quantity of an item when converting a Requisition to a Purchase order.

Any help will be much appreciated.

After the requisition has been finally approved, you will not be able to change the quantity at the stage of "Generating a Purchase Order". I have previously assumed that you can later on cancel the "PO Quantity" on the purchase order level, although, it was not doable because of the SOP-POP commitment

You may refer to this post regarding the complete case GP2013 R2-Needing to cancel a PO qty created off a Requisition

I always emphasize on the fact that this is still a preliminary release of the requisition, such issues will be taken into consideration in future releases.

Let us know if you have any further concerns,

Thanks so much for the feedback. this is really a big issue that a hot fix must resolve soon!! since users cant wait for future releases.

i am wondering when will i need the enquiry report for partially purchased then?

Ruth it is important to remember this is not a bug you are running into but by design. If you would like to see this functionality change I would recommend entering a product suggestion:
