Worker type employee

Hi, I am in USSI, where I have a worker record and the type is employee. The employee has an assignment with open end date. He belongs to USSRT.

While I am in USSI, I can see the record when I open the Workers list. I want to assign the worker to projects in USSI. If I go to employee form, I can't see the worker record. If I go to project > resources, I can't see the worker record. Is it possible to assign the employee of USSRT to projects in USSI?

Thanks

Sam

Try to assign him for a position belong to USSI, and then try to assign him for a project in USSI.

    Hi Fadi,

The worker has already a position in USSI. But that didn't resolve the issue. Thanks

Please indicate which version of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations you are using. In the initial release, it was not supported having a project resource for a worker having employment in multiple LEs.  This functionality exists in the latest release.  Aside from having employment in multiple LEs, there is additional setup to share resources between LEs.

    Hi Sam Khawaja,

Employee of one company cannot be used on the other company till you have made the employee of one company also an employee of the another company using the employment history option from the employee form.

Select the company for which you want the employee to be associated with and save the record.
