QR code reader for the event checkin

Hi,

We plan to use the QR code generated by the marketing app for our future events. We saw the QR code scanner is already available when creating a checkin record but It took us time for creating, scanning the code and saving the record if we have a lot of attendees... 

Have you ever heard of some QR code readers which can directly create the record in the Checkin entity?

    Hey!

    In addition to Neil's excellent article - you can also use a barcode reader in a PowerApp to read the QR code, create a relevant Check-in record by scanning the QR code on the powerapp - if you'd like to limit access to the D365 application to users on the check-in desk.

    2 years have passed from this message, is there a more "out of the box" solution from MS or do I still have to create a power app to use the QR Code for checking in ?

    I am too after this , and its now 2025.I am  new to Marketing module, Do we have any OOTB - Out of box to scan QR code and allow fast checkin process??
    Or what solution when you went with? Could you please shgare
