Correcting an entry made to Payment Tolerance

We had an entry post to Payment Tolerance a number of years ago that is creating a variance with our AP general ledger.  Is there a way to clear this up without having to open up our ability to post directly to the AP ledger?  The variance is very small so anything we can do to avoid going out of protocol is ideal however we very much would like to get this cleared up finally

As far as I know there is no way.
If your accounting period has been closed, you must reopen it to make adjustments to the amounts at that time.
Of course you can consider customization, but I personally don’t recommend it.
PS: Dynamics 365 Business Central: Can we insert/modify/delete posted data (Posted Documents & Posted Entries) via AL???

    Thanks.

    Hello,

If the Amount is Nominal then you can settle out in Current Year and Mention the comment that it is adjustment of Past Years.

Because Past Years Accounts are finalized and Audited. And changes in that Past Year makes your Books of Accounts incorrect.

So Changing in Past Year for Nominal Amount of Payables, it is not suggested by me.
