I'm a customer testing an upgrade from v13 to v14. I have a fresh license from our partner and everything goes fine, except some of the extensions contain test objects in a range I'm not allowed to publish.
Publish-NAVApp -ServerInstance Test140 -Path .\UKPostcodeGetAddressIO.app
Publish-NAVApp : Your programme license does not allow you to publish 'Test UK Postcode GetAddress.io'.
This happens with several of the bundled extensions. I can ask our partner to publish them, but it makes things a lot less flexible timing wise.
My question is, is this right? That a customer license can do everything necessary for the upgrade, but fails to install some basic extensions because of test objects which (as far as I can tell) a customer doesn't need in the first place?
Thanks
Hello,
If a license does not have all necessary objects included, you cannot touch these objects via upgrade procedure. Typically, upgrades are done by partner using partner / development license.
Thanks.
