Deferral in Intercompany

Dear Members,

I have a requirement to create deferral in both inter company invoice and inter-company journals in business central. I couldn’t find deferral field especially in Inter-company journals.Kindly help me resolving this.

Hi, the Intercompany General Journal table is also Gen. Journal Line (81), so you can try adding it to the page using the following method.

Maybe this will help you resolve it.

The Intercompany General Journal uses the same underlying table as the General Journal Line (Table 81), so technically the Deferral Code field exists there. However, it's just not visible on the Intercompany Journal page by default.

You can try exposing the Deferral Code field using the “Personalize” feature or with the new “Add Table Fields to Page” functionality available in Business Central 2023 Wave 2 (BC23) and later.

This allows you to show existing table fields directly on the page without needing a page extension.
