Manage Employees with a minimum resources on Ms F&O Finances

We have recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, focusing solely on the finance modules.
Our company, based in CA, USA, comprises approximately 50 employees. We've already set up ADP for employee and HR management; however, we now seek guidance on managing various payroll aspects such as different payment credits or advances to our employees, on MsDyn 365 F&O, without integrating with ADP or implementing a Payroll module.
We would greatly appreciate your prompt response regarding the best approach to handle this in accordance with US laws.

    Hi,
    Do you want to manage payroll manually within the system? Employee salaries can be calculated manually based on work period, salary, or other compensation structures using F&O's built-in functionality. Configuring US payroll also includes setting up earning codes and creating earning code groups, and entering information for tax withholding, benefit accrual, and setting beginning balances.     Generally, you would use the Accounts payable module, with each employee setup as a vendor, to manage this kind of employee payment activity if not using the F&O payroll functionality.
