I have generated a word template for the WennSoft Alternate Blank Purchase Order in order to take advantage of unlimited line comments. This works fine and the word document generates fine however when it is emailed from the PO transaction window it says "generating email but it does not show in outlook"
If I use the GP original or modified Blank Purchase Order it emails fine.

I had a similar issue with the emailing of Sales Invoices. It wouldn't work until I put in an "On Error Resume Next". I actually had to replace my error handler with this scenario. Peculiar but it works. It appears that in the email process that two passes are made of the data to generate what goes out and this will wreak havoc with VBA code that relies on more normal flow.

Still does not work. I am thinking there are limited templates which are enabled for emailing e.g POP blank form works but not the POP other form. I suspect Microsoft may have fixed this in 2015.
I have got around this by using the GP Blank PO, adding WennSoft fields with VBA, adding additional comment lines using the Report Writer Function script (RW_POPLINECommentText) and then adjusting the template to accommodate the extra lines.
Could actually add as many lines as needed but total text is still limited to 560 Characters. Trick is to add the extra lines on the template to Comment Footer 4.
