Error when trying to merge Accounts

When trying to merge 2 accounts, I am getting an error saying,
 
Business Process Error
An error occurred in plugin.Party ID needs to be filled in.
 
I don't see this field anywhere, please help if you can, thank you.

    Sounds to me like you might have Dual Write enabled in your environment? Party ID is a table and data that gets created when Dual Write is enabled (along with a bunch of other stuff). You should see the field on the table, and you can add it to a form if needed. 
     
    As far as I know, once the Dual-Write solution has been enabled and installed it can't be removed from an environment.
