Sales Reservation Availability report does not show qty on hand consistently

I have noticed that the Sales Reservation availability report does not show values under the 'Quantity on Hand (Base)' field for all sales orders. I did a test where I have a couple of reservations and sales orders without reservations. When I run the report, in some cases for some items, it shows the inventory amount under 'Quantity on Hand (Base)' . In other instances, it displays 0 even though the inventory availability by location for the item displays an amount. See screenshots below.

I cannot explain why it fluctuates in displaying the info. Has anyone encountered this?

If you don't get further responses to this issue, you may want to raise a support request to Microsoft support via your CSP / Partner.
